Perhaps the best-known establishment in Illyefalva is its conference centre, which is the venue for between 80 and 90 events each year. Its construction was financed by a gift of 120 thousand Swiss franks raised in 1990 by confirmation candidates in Switzerland, to which other funding was later added. On 1 October 1992, the modern complex was ready, and in order to look after its operations, the Christian Youth and Diaconal Foundation was established at the initiative of the Reformed Church. The conference centre is a self-supporting non-profit organisation.

- In the bastions: 80 guests (camp-like quality, May through October)
- At the children’s village: 51 guests
In addition to the guest rooms there is a lounge, dining room, library, castle theatre and conference rooms that create an ideal environment for studying, training and reflection. The Protestant church located inside the castle walls serves as a place of worship. In the vicinity of the centre there is a sport complex with tennis courts, handball and basketball courts, a table tennis room and a mini-golf course to provide guests with recreational facilities.
